Pizza! Pizza! But What About the Protien

This is shaping up to be a pizza week for me! On Monday, you know I had pizza while watching the Patriots game.  I packed a piece to eat for lunch yesterday but my work day got so crazy I didn’t even have a chance to eat it! Not good. So when I got home last night to a house with no food my husband suggested we take advantage of the nice day and take a ride to the  beach and have beach pizza for dinner. I didn’t need that much arm twisting 🙂 So not to spoil tomorrow’s food recap but I had yesterdays lunch pizza today. 

So last night I was talking to my husband about my frustration with my weight gain, inability to lose and my over all lethargic feeling.  He seemed to think I’m not getting enough protien and I think he is right.  I’m not a huge meat eater so I need to find more enjoyable ways to incorporate protien in my diet.  To tell you the truth I never look at the protien on labels so I’m going to start paying more attention and see if it makes a difference.  Right now I think I’m getting most of my protien through PB, Milk and veggies.  Anyone have any tips on how to incorporate more protein? Maybe I should try a shake in the morning?

Here is yesterday’s food recap:

b-fast: 1/2 cup oats, 3/4 cup skim milk, 1 tbsp PB (350 cals)

lunch: nothing 😦

snack: Pomegranite Chobani – I didn’t love this flavor (140 cals)

dinner: two pieces of beach pizza (600 cals)

dessert: one scoop froyo (250 cals)

total: 1440

exercise: none 😦
